Hammy's Pizza is founded on the ideals of environmentally conscious and locally based business practices. Our mission is to provide fast, friendly and affordable food to Portland without compromising quality or the ideals of sustainability upon which our business is based. We make everything from scratch and strive to only use the freshest, highest quality, and local/seasonal/organic ingredients.
Our dough is made daily using flour from Shepherd's Grain, a local company
that practices sustainable agriculture. We let our dough proof slowly for 24 hours before preparing your pizza so
that the crust develops for optimal flavor and texture.
Our sauce is made daily using fresh packed Stanislaus tomatoes and Hammy's
secret recipe of herbs and simple spices.
Our cheese is the highest quality all-natural whole milk mozzarella.
We use all natural meat, which is prepared fresh daily, and we are proud to be serving cascade natural beef.
Whenever possible we use local organic toppings, and constantly update our
menu with seasonal ingredients.
